I travel almost 3 hours to come here. I would travel any length for the excellent care I get here. Dr. Knickelbein is not only a wonderful doctor but he is a fabulous person. His nurses makes me feel comfortable and know their job well. I have and do recommend this practice.

Dr. Knickelbein is a board-certified foot and ankle surgeon who specializes in the medical and surgical management of foot and ankle deformities and diseases. He is originally from Pittsburgh and received his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia.
Following his education, Dr. Knickelbein completed a two-year podiatry residency at the Podiatry Hospital of Pittsburgh.
Since the completion of his education, Dr. Knickelbein has utilized his skills to serve the Indiana community. Before his current position, he worked as a solo practitioner and in orthopedic sports medicine.
Accordingly, Dr. Knickelbein is a Diplomat of the American Board of Podiatric Surgeons and a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.
Dr. Knickelbein takes a special interest in all aspects of foot and ankle surgery as well as diabetic wound care. He and his wife currently reside in Indiana, PA.
