Dr. Fugate is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon originally from Punxsutawney, PA. He received his medical degree from Hahnemann University of Health Sciences in Philadelphia, PA.
In 1990, he completed a four-year orthopedic residency in the United States Army, Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu, Hawaii. Dr. Fugate served as chief of the department of surgery at the General Leonard Wood Army Community Hospital in Fort Leonard Wood, MO and served in Operation Desert Storm as a staff orthopedic surgeon in Saudi Arabia.
