Dr. Guddeti is a general surgeon who is board-certified by American College of Surgeons. He is originally from Jammalamadugu, India and received his medical degree and surgery diploma from Sri Venkateswara Medical College in Tirupati, India.
Later, he moved to Jamaica and worked in surgery and other subspecialties. During this time, he also obtained an FRCS Fellowship from Edinburgh, United Kingdom.
Following this, Dr. Guddeti completed a preliminary surgery internship at Westchester Medical Center, Valhalla, NY. He then completed a general surgery residency at Howard University Hospital, Washington, DC. Most recently, Dr. Guddeti has completed a fellowship in minimally invasive surgery at Atlanta Medical Center, Atlanta.
Dr. Guddeti has been recognized for his high level of academic performance and involvement with philanthropy. He obtained the second highest score on his Medical School Qualifying Examination. He has also been honored for organizing various health camps as well as developing an awareness of HIV and other preventable diseases.
Dr. Guddeti is a member of the American College of Surgeons, the American Medical Association, and the Indian Medical Association.
In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter, watching movies, and playing cricket.
