Dr. Lan is a family physician who is originally from Taiwan. He received his medical degree from Kaohaiung Medical College in Taiwan.

Following his education, Dr. Lan completed an internal medicine residency at Changhua Christian Hospital and the National Taiwan University Hospital. He then completed a second residency in neuropsychiatry at the National Institute of Psychiatry and Neurology in London. Finally, he completed a two-year residency at Good Samaritan Hospital in Pottsville, PA.

Dr. Lan has been practicing at Indiana Regional Medical Center for 36 years. He constantly encourages patient health through a minimally processed diet and maximum exercise. His excellent care has resulted in a loyal following of patient families from 3 generations.

Outside of his professional work, Dr. Lan enjoys playing the violin and listening to classical music. In fact, he has performed violin with Dr. Santo’s Groundhog Symphony at the Groundhog Festival in Punxsutawney, PA. His favorite composers are Beethoven, Mozart, and Tchaikovsky.
