Opportunity to join an existing private practice of three physicians and one PA who practice traditional inpatient and outpatient IM in Indiana, PA. The practice site is about one mile from the hospital, and is located in an almost new building built and belonging to the practice owner. The space was built for future growth, and the need for another physician is now. AB/AT preferred, but will consider all candidates (no J1). One in six on call. Hospital-employed for startup is possible; group prefers a forgivable guarantee from the hospital. Educational loan forgiveness, signing bonus, and relocation expenses available.
Hospital-employed opportunity to replace physician following her husband for his career. Will share 2 office locations with 1 other employed physician. Collegial call coverage and support available from 4 other solo physicians in the Indiana, PA community. The hospital has approximately 650 deliveries per year, and a public clinic separate from the practices. Coverage for this clinic rotates on a weekly basis. The c-section rate is approximately 22%, and there is an active and progressive L&D process improvement program. Other services include level 1 nursery, perinatal education program, Spirit of Women program, and a collaborative nursing staff. Mostly outpatient, but includes inpatient care, including a level 1 nursery at our community hospital. Two office sites. Volume is 25 to 30 outpatients/day. Call is 1:7. No pediatric subspecialties available locally; tertiary care readily available at UPMC Children’s Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. Helicopter transport is based on the hospital campus. Must be BC/BE. Opportunity to join an existing combined neurology and psychiatry practice, for primarily adult outpatient care, although other interests are welcome. Skilled nursing facility visits and some limited inpatient geriatric psychiatry and consultation coverage required, including up to 1 in 3 call (extremely rare to come in from home). The practice was founded by a recently deceased lead physician trained in both psychiatry and neurology, and now includes one other child, adolescent, and adult psychiatrist, an adult psychiatrist focusing mainly on inpatient care, three neurologists, two psychiatry PAs, a psychologist, and two social worker/therapists.
