Dr. Giovanni Montenegro is originally from New York. He received his bachelor’s degree in psychology and political science from New York University in New York, NY, and received his Doctorate of Clinical Psychology from the Massachusetts School of Professional Psychology, now William James College in Newton, MA.
After receiving his doctorate, Dr. Montenegro completed a clinical internship in the Dept. of Mental Health and a fellowship in the Dept. of Public Health, both at Tewksbury State Hospital in Tewksbury, MA. He currently serves as adjunct faculty at both Clarion University of Pennsylvania in Clarion, PA and Pennsylvania Highlands Community College in Johnstown, PA.
His psychology interests include neuropsychology and cognitive behavioral therapy.
In his spare time, Dr. Montenegro enjoys watching movies. He is fluent in English, Spanish and Italian.
