Dr. Lisa Kwisnek-LaMantia is a board-certified internal medicine physician from Clarksburg, Pa., who received her Bachelor of Science degree from James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Va., and earned her doctorate of osteopathic medicine from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Erie, Pa.
She completed her internship and residency training at The Western Pennsylvania Hospital in Pittsburgh. Following her residency, Lisa joined the junior faculty and served as West Penn Hospital’s chief resident for approximately one year. She later went on to pursue a leadership and teaching position at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center’s internal medicine residency program in Johnstown, Pa. After her leadership and teaching experience, Lisa joined Premier Medical Associates in Monroeville, Pa., where she provided patients with exceptional acute care.
Dr. Kwisnek-LaMantia is dual board certified in internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine.
Throughout her educational and clinical experience, She has received multiple awards, including the West Penn Hospital internal medicine residency “Professionalism” Award and the Dr. Wael Jawhari Golden Pen Award for Professionalism, Humanism, and Outstanding Teaching in Medicine.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Kwisnek-LaMantia enjoys spending time with her family, renovating her home, and hiking at local parks. In addition, she enjoys reading fiction novels and keeping up with her favorite television shows and movies, which typically relate to the superhero genre.
